Solutions for social-ecological problems

Design transformative processes

Transformative research aims to advance change processes towards sustainable development through practical solutions. Therefore, both scientists and actors from practice such as companies, associations, municipalities, administration and civil society initiatives are involved at itp:ne. The perspective of citizens flows into the solution development process via a citizen panel.

Overcome routines together

The transment approach looks at the basic functional conditions of the system and initiates system innovations in order to exploit the opportunities associated with the change processes. It is used in multi-level, networked supply chains (Green Deal as an opportunity) or in regional mobility or heating systems (On-site infrastructure).

Transment combines transfer, transdisciplinarity and transformation with the testing character of an experiment.
